Oleg Panyutin is a Paralympic champion specializing in long jump. Born in Baku in 1983, he became one of the most successful athletes in Azerbaijan’s Paralympic athletics program.

His greatest success came at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games where he won the gold medal. He later added another Olympic podium result with a silver medal at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics.

Over the years Panyutin has also won medals at World and European championships and remains one of the leading figures in Paralympic athletics representing Azerbaijan
