Get ready to share the excitement of Novruz Urban Fest!
YARAT Contemporary Art Space presents the festival program “Battle 4 Last Charshanba”, bringing together urban culture and Novruz traditions!
This festival, taking place on March 16, will create a dynamic atmosphere with colorful competitions and interactive masterclasses.
As part of the festival program, the “Scratch Session,” skateboarders showcasing their skills in competitions, “Breakdance” and “All Styles” dance battles, as well as the “Graffiti Jam” highlighting urban art, will shape the dynamic spirit of Novruz Urban Fest.
The festival program, inspired by the four elements of Novruz, will offer participants not only a great time but also the opportunity to express themselves creatively.

Said Rzayev’s (Tovarich295) workshop: “Street Xonça”
In the master class, participants will reinterpret traditional symbols of Novruz in street art style. They will create unique artworks by incorporating visual elements such as painted eggs, qogal, and shekerbura using modern graffiti techniques.

“Tema var!” Art Corner
In this interactive space, local graffiti artists will showcase their latest works and exclusive products. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore unique examples of street art, engage with the artists, and gain deeper insight into their creative processes. This corner brings together creativity, culture, and community, highlighting the dynamics of street art.

Anar Shamsi’s workshop and Egg Battle: “Mortal Eggs”
In the interactive master class, participants will decorate eggs, one of the main symbols of Novruz, in their own style using various colors and patterns. Then, one of the most exciting moments of the festival – the egg battle – will take place! Participants will compete in a friendly rivalry to determine the strongest egg.

Museum of Azerbaijani Painting of the 20th-21st Centuries, 2nd floor
Breakdance and All Styles Dance Battle
Participants will demonstrate their skills in the “Breakdance” and “All Styles” dance competitions. A professional jury will evaluate the competition and select the winners for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. The winners will receive certificates and gifts. Additionally, Georgian musician DJ GROTASK will enhance the event’s atmosphere with his “Scratch Session” performance.

Skateboarding Competition
Participants will showcase their skateboarding skills by overcoming various obstacles. The competition will be judged by a panel, and the best performances will be awarded.

Digital Bonfire: “Inferno Mode”
“Inferno Mode” is a bonfire that merges modern digital art with traditional fire rituals. The digital depiction of flames is synthesized with music and visual art, creating a harmony between tradition and innovation. This digital ritual offers a unique experience filled with surprises.
