Three-day student-focused New Year corporate event in Azerbaijan delivered with MVP Agency as end-to-end production partner. Case study covering event management, large-scale operations, stage production, logistics and experiential community engagement
The ATGTI New Year Corporate Event 2021 was a large-scale three-day celebration organised by the Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations’ Union. The event brought together more than 1,500 students representing over 100 universities from across Azerbaijan, creating one of the most significant student-focused New Year gatherings of the year.
Founded in 2009, ATGTI is a national umbrella organisation representing student youth communities and supporting educational, cultural, and social initiatives throughout the country. The New Year event was designed as a flagship celebration to strengthen community ties and mark the transition into a new academic period.
EVENT CONCEPT AND PURPOSE
The concept of the event focused on creating a festive and inclusive atmosphere for students while encouraging networking, social interaction, and cultural engagement. The three-day format enabled a diverse programme combining entertainment, music, social spaces, and shared celebration on a national scale.
MVP ROLE
MVP acted as the end-to-end production and event operations partner, responsible for the complete delivery of the event across all three days. The scope included venue rental and full spatial planning for up to 1,500 attendees, catering coordination and service logistics, development of decoration concepts and photo zones, DJ and MC booking and management, main stage production and setup, full sound system installation using JBL Audio, DJ equipment setup including Pioneer PLX turntables and professional mixers, lighting design and stage effects, on-site operations team management and guest flow coordination, as well as safety coordination and attendee management.
EVENT OUTCOME
The ATGTI New Year Corporate Event successfully delivered a high-energy, well-structured multi-day programme, becoming the largest student-focused New Year celebration of 2021. The project strengthened ATGTI’s position as the leading student youth organisation in Azerbaijan and reinforced MVP’s role as a reliable partner for large-scale corporate and cultural event production.
